Fairmont Hot Springs

We are excited to announce our pack-filled Spring Meeting at Fairmont Hot Springs!  This year we have our Annual Member Meeting on Thursday (10:30 - 4:00 pm), Board Meeting (5:00 - 6:00), Documentary & Discussion (6:00 - 8:00 pm) and an amazing training on Friday (8:30 - 4:00).  Please, join us!

Our Thursday Annual Member Meeting includes time to discuss old business, the legislative session, new clinical issues as well as an in-service by one of MSOTA's Clinical Members, Andy Hudak, LCPC, on a "non-power & control model of confrontation" called the "The Contradiction Model."  Lunch is provided this day for MSOTA members.  Thursday evening (6:00 pm), we have an exclusive screening of the documentary, Pedophile, which has yet to be released in the US but is receiving much acclaim in Canada.   Following the documentary shall be a discussion about the movie with a special Skype visit from the documentary's director, Matthew Campea.

Friday's training on Stalking:  Assessing the Risk Agenda is co-sponsored by MCADSV and brings in two speakers from the Stalking Resource Center of the National Center for Victims of Crime.  Following their presentation is a panel discussion of stalking in Montana.

If you wish to join us and are a not a member of MSOTA, please, download and print the Registration form at mail it with your registration fee ($25).  If you are a member of MCADSV, then your registration fee is waived.  However, please, still complete the form and mail it to the appropriate address so we may keep track of registrants. We are applying for continuing education credits for mental health professionals, attorneys, and public safety officers for a nominal fee.   Credits shall be offered for Thursday's meeting, the documentary & discussion, as well as Friday's meeting.  Fairmont Hot Springs does have a number of rooms being held for the MSOTA meeting until March 20, 2017.
